Episode 01: A Ride on the American Highway

For our initial podcast, we kick off with American Highway which is a bourbon from the Bardstown Bourbon Company. This bourbon is blended with mash bills of 4, 13, and 15 year old bourbons. Some of the bourbon was aged in a “rolling rickhouse,” which is a semi truck trailer filled with barrels that followed around Brad Paisley while he was on tour. This is unique, as this bourbon has travelled to 25 states before being bottled.

We get the chance to sample this bourbon and give you our far from expert opinion. We also discuss how the 3 of each all found our own unique way into bourbon culture.
